rolling Tuscan countryside.
Certaldo
This little medieval town originally developed on a hilltop
around the castle belonging to the Alberti family. The new town
is at the bottom of the hill.
Siena
More than anywhere else Siena conveys the aspect of a medieval
city. Its plan extends over 3 converging red hills at the very
heart of the Tuscan plateau.
Pietrasanta
Important
agricultural and industrial town renowned for the marble works.
