One of the smallest Italina lakes, it is separated from Lake Maggiore by the peak ‘Il Mottarone’. It is perhaps the most delightful and most gracious of all the lakes.

Orta San Giulio
This small resort has a delightful position at the tip of a peninsula. The alleyways are lined with old houses adorned with elegant wrought-iron  balconies.
